Honouring Death Workshop
Explore your relationship with Death.
Time & Location
15 May 2021, 09:30 – 15:30
About the Event
We invite you to explore your relationship with Death.
(Or would you rather not think about this?)
Death is still such a taboo subject in many communities. There can be an unconscious belief that death is something that happens to other people, never to us!
Do you need support coping with a loss, an untimely death, an accident or a traumatic ending?
Do you tell yourself you should ‘be over it’ by now, as the event happened years ago?
Can you agree to Death? Your own? That of your loved ones? How does that feel? Is there something awakening in you? Is there something relaxing in you? Or do you feel uncomfortable?
This last year the Covid Pandemic has brought Death to our collective awareness more sharply. (If you have lost someone very recently, this workshop timing may not be for you.) The purpose of this workshop is to help people who are struggling with the effects of a loved one’s death, however long ago it occurred.
Stephen Jenkinson who wrote Die Wise, the award-winning book about grief and dying, and the great love of life, says: "We do not have much of a shared language to help us know what grief is for, or how heartache is a skill, or what dying asks of us all, or who the dying and the dead should be to us."
We are offering a safe space and the Constellation perspective to help support us explore Death and our relationship to it and let go of some fear so that we can live Life with greater ease and freedom.
We will be able to do 3 constellations during this workshop. You can join in three ways, as an issue holder, a representative or a circle holder. Transformative insights can be experienced in each of these places.
The clients and facilitators will be chosen at the outset of the workshop.
There will be small breaks between pieces of work and a 45-minute lunch break.
In the ticket section from this link below you will find many options.
There is a price range for this workshop of £50 - £150 as we wish to make this workshop accessible to all. Our invitation is for you to take the time to sense into yourself as to what feels the right amount for you and for us.
There are two concessionary places.
Once you have booked your place, you will automatically receive the Zoom link to the workshop a few days before the event.
We are looking forward to seeing you at the workshop.
